Welcome to the Alspaugh family blog. I love taking photos to capture moments in time. I scrapbook because time flies and I want to preserve our family memories. I design because I'd love to turn my hobby into a career. I work from home because we believe God wants me to be here for our boys. I blog to give my mom (and whoever else happens to stop by) a place to see the latest pictures of the boys and also to get the word out about my designs (although I more often facebook these days).
When people ask what kind of dog we have, they look at us kind of cross eyed when we answer because most people around Ohio have never heard of a Catahoula Leopard Dog. She has some Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Healer) in her as well. It's funny, people who know Australian Cattle Dogs see that in her, but when I look at the pictures of the Catahoula Leopard Dogs and the Australian Cattle Dogs, she clearly is a Catahoula! It was quite a surprise when I posted a picture of Lacey at The Shaker Box and my friend Carrie asked what kind of dog she was because she has the exact same markings as her dog! We have the same kind of dog! I hope that we have many years ahead of us with Lacey, but when it's time for another dog, I want another Catahoula! If you want to find out more about this breed, visit

How sweet your dog is and I agree it's a lovely breed. Mine is a mix Lab something, we're not quite sure. I adpoted her from a pet store where a little boy brought her and her sister in to be adopted out. Both my dogs are mixed somethings, LOL. Thanks for the wonderful BB's. Hugs -- xoxo!!
